SAVAGE OWNERS
THERE IS NOT BUT ONE THING I CAN SAY ABOUT MY
98 THUMPER. I LLLLLLLLLOVE IT! SHE IS ORANGE&
BLACK. I have raised the sissy bar,added foot
pegs,saddle bags and the one and only supertrapp
exhaust slip on shimmed the needle and has
8 discs with an additional open end cap =3
more discs. Also message on that nasty oil
leak from the head new head gskt and o-ring
added talk to suzuki manufacture about.I've
driven 4000 miles on new set so far she's holding
her oil 100% no leak. THIS THUMPER IS LOUD!
and i mean louder than any other japanese bike
on the road and louder than your average hog
so help me this is the gospel. NO bull. she's
crisp and loud sounds really good and also picked up much much hp. the only problem is i have to
be careful in 1st & 2nd noy to pop clutch to hard
or she rares up like a horse and the front wheel
will come up a bit but not to worry you really have to pop the clutch pretty hard for that. Its
not a race bike it's a market of its own and really catches attention. I'm not into racing her
but once in the quarter .12.9 once and only once. i love it .
